13 dead bodies of Kohistan incident arrived in Gahkuch amid tears

Gahkuch: A military helicopter carrying 13 dead bodies of the passengers who lost their lives in Kohistan incident, arrived in Gahkuch today.

Senior journalist Durdana Sher has shared video footage of arrival showing the people taking the bodies out of the helicopter, apparently suggesting that they will be transported by vehicles to respective villages.

Some 10 passengers reportedly belonged to Gupis and 3 from Yasin. The women who is seriously injured in the incident also belonged to Sandi village of Yasin valley.

Seventeen passenger including 2 women and 3 soldiers, lost their lives when a coaster traveling from Yasin to Rawalpindi fell into raven in Kohistan on Sunday.

A large number of people have gathered in Gupis foot ball ground at the moment to receive dead bodies.

Earlier assistant commissioner of Gupis had said the bodies will be brought their by helicopter and funeral payer will be offered, and then dispatched to the respective villages.
