Gilgit: On the occasion
of World Tourism Day, special celebrations were hosted at Karakoram
International University (KIU) on Thursday.
To make it more interesting, special event of green hiking was organized at the mountain in front of KIU.
Students of different departments and faculty member participated in the event.
Participants conducted
hiking and plantation to raise awareness about the importance of creating good environment for the promotion of tourism in the Gilgit Baltistan.
