Gilgit-Baltistan Youth Summit 2016 July 28-30, Skardu Pakistan

Gilgit: A two days Gilgit Baltistan Youth Summit to kick start in July, in the city of Skardu, Baltistan, Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) said in a statement released on Thursday.

According to the document, the event, schedule from July 28 to 30, will be supported by the U.S Embassy in Pakistan in partnership with Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN).

The Summit will bring together approximately 100 Young Students Leaders, Professionals, Youth Activists, Representatives of Youth Led Organizations and young alumni of U.S. Government-sponsored exchange programs from all over Gilgit-Baltistan.

The summit will feature discussions on four thematic areas of youth engagement which are Leadership role, social role, economic role and political role across Gilgit-Baltistan. Panel sessions will include prominent youth activists, political leaders, entrepreneurs, and young community leaders from across the Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan.

This conference will be an excellent networking opportunity to Youth in Gilgit-Baltistan to debate and discuss the keys issues which they are facing and to work on solutions to joints efforts.
The Applicants must fulfill the given criteria to be selected in this summit.
1.) Age 18-35
2.) Permanent Resident of Gilgit-Baltistan
3.) Socially Active
4.) Good Communication Skills
5.) Willingness to serve community in Future
6.) Preference will be given to Youth based in GB
