ISLAMABAD April 4: Prime minister Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider has claimed that Kashmiris have stakes in the Diamir dam and we would not leave our rights.
Talking to the members of Gilgit Baltista Council Attaullah Shahab and Syed Afzal he said we are not against the rights of people of Gilgit – Baltisan but we have reservations against the governance structure introduced in the region, according to a local news website Pamir Times.
The prime minister AJK said that people of Gilgit – Baltistan have sacrificed a lot for the independence of Kashmir and the decision to rename Northern Areas as Gilgit – Baltistan is a result of the long and harsh struggle by people of Gilgit – Baltistan.
