Karachi, Satureday 27: A token hunger strike of the effecties of artificial lake at Gojal enters the 5th day in fornt of Karachi press club. The demonstrators demaded to increase the duration of excavation work on the disaster lake formed on Hunza river due to a landslide at Attaabad, Hunza. They also demanded that Gojal valley would be declared as a calamity hit area and take steps to rehabilitate the 25, 000 stranded people. The demonstrators demanded to grant the overdue compensations to the victims of KKH expansion to increase economic resilience of the local communities in the times of disaster. The token hunger strike was organized by Save Hunza Gojal Committee.
