RAWALPINDI: A passing out parade of first Anti Terrorist Training Course (ATTC) of Police, Northern Areas Scout (NAS) and Karakoram Security Force conducted by Pakistan Army at Anti Terrorist Training Complex was held on Wednesday.
According to ISPR, Force Commander Northern Areas (FCNA), Major General Qamar Javed Bajwa was the chief guest on the occasion.
The training was designed to train Police and paramilitary forces in security environment and to evaluate their responses to effectively curb terrorism in a professional manner. During the course of the training the security forces personnel were trained in the arts of Close Quarter Battle, Rope Repelling, Small Arms Shooting, Unarmed Combat and Physical Training.
Commander FCNA, Major General Qamar Javed Bajwa commended the efforts of faculty staff, who imparted rigorous training to the police and civil armed forces personnel and said that the training staff has dedicatedly designed the course to cater for the prevailing threats and added that the first batch of Anti Terrorist Course has set very high standards and will go along way in maintaining peace in the area.
He also urged the passed out security forces personnel to apply their training during the tenure of their service which would be beneficial for the individual and for the country as well.
Inspector General Gilgit Baltistan, Tehseen Anwar Ali Shah, Director General Northern Areas Scouts, Brigadier Nadeem Ul Ahsan Tirmizi, Home Secretary Muhammad Usman and a large number of military officers attended the passing out parade. Online
