RAWLAKOT: The nationalist parties of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan join hands to struggle for the rights and independence of the disputed region, forming new allaince, the Jammu Kashmir Revolutionary Movement (JKRM).
The decision to form the allaince was taken in a meeting hosted by Amanullah Khan, former chairman of JKLF.
Other nationalist leaders participated in the meeting included Nadir Hassan Khan, Arif Shahid, Shahid Gilgiti, Abdul Hamid Khan.
Shaukat Maqbool Butt, son of slain Kashmiri nationalist leader, has been elected as president, Shahid Gilgiti as vice chairman and Liaquat Hayat as secretary general of the new allaince.
The leaders also decided in the meeting to organize a show of strength in front of Azad Kashmir Assembly on November 20.
