Active citizen programme for youth launched

ISLAMABAD: The YES Network Pakistan and British Council signed an MoU to launch Active Citizens Programme in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and AJK, says a press release.

Under this initiative, young people living in GB and AJK will be provided structured opportunities for training and engagement. The British Council launched the exciting youth development programme ‘Active Citizens’ in 2009 where more than 3000 young people participated in the programme through learning programme, social action projects and international networking opportunities.
