KIU undertakes 14 research projects

GILGIT: The Karakoram International University (KIU) Gilgit is undertaking 14 research projects and training programmes to strengthen the Central Karakoram National Park (CKNP).

These projects will be executed at a cost of Rs23.462 million, said a press release issued by the university.

These joint venture of Italy and Pakistan involves social, economic and environmental development projects, targeting the population of Ganche, Skardu, Gilgit, Hunza and Nagar.
