FBISE announces result of SSC Part-I examination

ISLAMABAD: A total of 67,295 students appeared in SSC Part-I annual examination out of which 42,095 candidates passed all the papers with the overall ratio of 63.28 per cent.

According to the result announced by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Friday a total of 47,504 regular students appeared in the science group out of which 34,926 passed with the percentage 74.12 while in Humanities group, a total of 8,992 regular students appeared in the exams out of which 4,469 passed the exams with percentage of 50.13.

In science group, 7,087 ex/private candidates appeared in the annual exams out of which 2,153 passed all the papers with the percentage of 31.24 while in Humanities group, 3,712 candidates appeared and 547 passed all the exams with percentage of 15.22 per cent.

The result cards of regular candidates are being dispatched to the heads of their respective institutions and those of private candidates within the country on the addresses provided by them in their admission forms.

However, the result cards of candidates both regular and private belonging to Gilgit Baltistan are being sent to the FBISE’ sub-office Gilgit.

This year, 21 unfair means cases were reported and all the cases have been decided. A judicious process was adopted to decide the cases and efforts was made to ensure that personal hearing was allowed to all concerned. Notification on the decision taken in the cases is placed at the end of gazette at page number 861.

The application for rechecking of papers can be submitted within 30 days. The result is available on the federal board’s website www.fbise.edu.pk. The candidates can get result through SMS unified code 5050 by sending SMS in the format FB[roll number]. Result of some candidates has been indicated as result later on (RL) which will be declared on completion of requirements on part of the candidates and board.
