Gilgit, November 22: PML(N) leader Salamat Jan was injured when two unknown assailants attacked him at air port road on Monday.
Sources said the President of the provincial chapter of PML(N) Youth Wing, Samat Jan was stading outside business place when two assailants, opened fire at him near Naseem Cinema, the busiest market of the city. As a result Salamat Jan seriously injured. He was immediately taken to DHQ hospital and later shifted to CMH Jutial.
After the incident police has cordoned off the area to net the assiliants and started search operation in Majeni Muhalla, air port road and adjoining areas.
