GBUM leader Manzoor Parwana arrested

SKIRDU: Manzoor Parwana, Chairman of Gilgit Baltistan United Movement (GBUM), has been arrested after a seminar organized by BNSO in Baltisan.

Parwana in his speech had demanded withdrawal of Pakistani forces and supporting the refugees from Ladakh in the region, sources said.
According to the FIR, he was arrested for expressing support for the refugees of Ladakh in Gilgit Baltistan who want opening of the Line of Control and demanding reinstatement of State Subject Rule in the region, withdrawal of Pakistani security forces from there and basic human rights for the people, sources said.
